⚖️ Your role as General Counsel

As Nitor’s General Counsel, you will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the legal framework of an evolving company. This is your chance to define best practices and provide strategic guidance that supports sustainable growth and operational excellence. You’ll set the standard and build something truly impactful.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Legal strategy and advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to Nitor’s leadership, management, and board of directors.

  • Corporate governance and administration: Support board work and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards. Enhance corporate maturity in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Contract law: Oversee customer, subcontractor, and employment contracts. Identify risks, ensure compliance, and negotiate agreements that align with our values.

  • Tech law: Guide us through evolving legal landscapes, including data protection, AI governance, and other emerging areas of technology law.

  • Labour law and training: Lead compliance efforts, create training programs, and support teams with employment-related legal matters.

  • Risk management and disputes: Anticipate and manage legal risks proactively while navigating potential disputes when needed.

We’re seeking a seasoned legal expert who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • 8+ years of experience as a legal professional, ideally with expertise in IT or consulting industries.

  • Expertise in contract law, data protection, and corporate governance.

  • Strong skills in negotiation, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.

  • Fluency in Finnish and English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, balancing complex legal matters and pragmatic business needs.
